Soy Amor Candles, a mother-daughter venture, was established in November 2019 in Montebello, CA, with a deep focus on love. The name "Soy" translates to "I am" in Spanish, while "Amor" signifies "love." Notably, "I am Love" holds spiritual significance as a name for God, our creator (1 John 4:16). With heartfelt intention, we infuse each candle with love, aspiring for you to illuminate your lives with the warmth of that love when you light our candles.
After some unexpected employment changes in our careers, we decided to take advantage of our situation and become entrepreneurs. Our mother-daughter team strives to empower women as independent bread earners during these difficult times.
Our primary desire was to create a healthy conscious product that would enhance our world by using high-quality, ecofriendly and non-toxic candle ingredients which perform at longer burn-times with a great scent throw.
Fun fact: We draw candle name inspirations from our hometown of Montebello and the greater Los Angeles.

Soy wax is eco-friendlier than paraffin wax and supports American soy farmers. We even use 100% cotton wicks, providing a consistent, sustainable, heavy metal & zinc-free flame.
Our soy wax is non-toxic, non-carcinogenic and vegan. It contains no pesticides or herbicides making it safer for your family and pets. Soy wax is an excellent choice for those who wish to burn healthy and environmentally-friendly candles.
Soy wax burns at a cooler temperature; therefore, increasing your candle’s life by burning 50% longer - making our candles more cost efficient and safer for your skin!
Soy wax can be cleaned from surfaces with hot water and soap. Although soy wax is biodegradable, it is still wax - AVOID POURING DOWN YOUR DRAINS!
We use essential oils and high grade fragrance oils to scent our candles, which results in a beautiful scent throw! We avoid synthetic fragrances that contain harmful chemicals.
